Program Description:

The Pre-LL.M. is a 192-hour certificate program, taught jointly by the Academia de Litigación (Santiago, Chile) and Temple University School of Law (Philadelphia, PA USA).

The program will enable students to improve their trial advocacy skills and become strong advocates. Course content will include evidence and criminal procedure law, experiential education, as well as courtroom strategy. Through this collaboration, students will learn US law and strategy, and how it can be applied in their home countries.

Students will be eligible to earn two credits toward Temple's LLM in Trial Advocacy or LLM for Foreign-Trained Lawyers if they wish to continue their studies.

Students must have a law degree, law license, and suitable command of the English language.

The program includes 176 hours of online classes, taught jointly by the Academia de Litigación and Temple University School of Law. At the end of the program, there will be a one-week live intensive, practical workshop (a "bootcamp") at Temple's campus in Philadelphia.
